Another year is about to bid goodbye. Funny how I got the nerve to ask questions and make ridiculous and thought provoking statements as Facebook status and updates for the whole year of 2014. I guess that shows how active I am online that I am constantly engaging myself in Facebook activity - from being negative to posting lots of feelings, thinking and sharing about different aspects of self-concept and self-esteem.
My posts will probably
interpret my behaviors and draw valid conclusions to my personal biases and
nuances about many things and about life in general. My posts seem to have
patterns and themes.
As I constantly use social
media such as Facebook, it gives me an avenue to analyze and understand my
personality as a complex phenomenon which proves my uniqueness as an
individual.
Take a quick glance at my
whole year Facebook posts you commented, reacted and interacted that yielded
some good insights into who I am now, but the more exciting part is how many
questions these posts raise about who I might be and ultimately who I
might become. I thank you all my FB friends for being part of my growing year.
The year 2014 is such an amazing year for me. I say goodbye to 2014 that
left me with a lot of memories and welcome 2015 that comes with new hope and
happiness. Read on.
The beauty of life does not
depend on how happy you are but how happy others can be because of you. Sana
masaya kana ngayon dahil masaya na rin ako.
The best things always happen
to the best people. I am glad to be surrounded by these kind of individuals. Oh
Japan, the land of the rising sun, you are just a dream away!
God has given us beautiful
reasons to smile and celebrate for a wonderful and fruitful year spent with
well-meaning people in the academe. Cheers for everyone for doing a great job.

situation now.
Super Typhoon Ruby is heading
at our direction; but it's queer why I feel a little bit nostalgic in this red
alert moment. I suddenly miss listening to my paper boat song. No one can
better render it in perfect tune and harmony than my pinangga. Is pinangga
checking the PAG-ASA update?
Tomorrow I gonna reveal my 20
plus bucket list to take form in 5 years. I hope you are that person who will
help me materialize any of them.
Love ends but friendship is
forever. Alam mo na 'yon pinangga,sa tamang panahon.hahaha. Thank you for your
eyes that shows kindness, your smile that gives sunshine to my rainy days, for
your ears that patiently listen to my stories and for your heart that opens up
for me and honest enough to tell me what I need to know about you. (Only this

last night's party at Monica del Sol with co-teachers. Can't help not to shout

The story of Damon and Pythias
will remain a legend for me.
I am finally done reading the
novel The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. The book's main theme is about finding
one's destiny. Your Personal Legend "is what you have always wanted to
accomplish". The old king tells Santiago, "When you really want
something to happen, the whole universe conspires so that your wish comes
true." When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our
courage and willingness to change; at such a moment, there is no point in
pretending that nothing has happened or in saying that we are not ready. The
challenge will not wait. Life does not look back. There are moments when
troubles enter our lives and we can do nothing to avoid them. But they are
there for a reason. Only when we have overcome them will we understand why they
were there. What a wonderful book!
This has been the theme song
of her necrological service in honor of her greatness. We will not say goodbye
to you Ma'am Rosie because we will see you again.
I'll See You Again
It is with a heavy heart that
I post here with the sad news of the passing of our dear colleague in JPENHS and
friend Ma'am Rosie Irong. She passed away on November 19, 2014 at Davao
Hospital from cancer of the uterus. For the past months, Ma'am Rosie has been
dealing with cancer, but she was adamant about not being defined by it or its
consequences. She was incredibly graceful and courageous in dealing with her
illness, and made extraordinary accommodations to continue to teach, work with
her students and lead science activities. Her passion and dedication to her
teaching and her students were unparalleled. She has shaped and touched the
lives of countless students and colleagues across the years. Ma'am Rosie will
be very much missed as a teacher, mentor, colleague, friend, mother, and wife.
Her dedicated and loving spirit in the face of adversity was an inspiration to
all of us. We will continue to hold her in our hearts and value her immense and
varied contributions to education. Our deep condolences and thoughts go to them
in these difficult times. No funeral arrangements are to take place at this
time. JPENHS invites colleagues, students, and friends to share their thoughts
and remembrances of Ma'am Rosie in the comments below, and we will forward them
to the family. Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out to her family,
colleagues, students, and friends.

Japanese guy. You need much of it when you decide to stay in a country like
Japan where only few people can speak English. But what is remarkable about
Japanese is their willingness to help despite the language barrier and yes they
are so polite. In order to survive you need to learn some basic Japanese

persistent fear of blood. Sufferers of this very common phobia dread the sight

in the dark blindly walking through life hoping that someday I will find the

As I about to begin the summer
